The Law Office of Robert S. Sunshine, P.C. is a general litigation boutique. The firm constantly strives toward the formulation of litigation plans and strategies for its represented clients so as to reduce the overall fees, costs and expenditures which frequently arise out of contested litigation.

Robert Sunshine has served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel to the City of New York, New York City Board of Education and New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation. Prior to establishing his Rockland County practice, he was a litigation partner with a national litigation firm based in Manahattan. He is an accomplished trial and appellate attorney, having appeared as lead counsel on numerous actions which garnered significant national exposure.

Mr. Sunshine presently serves as a member of the Matrimonial and Family Law sections of the Rockland County Bar Association, New York State Bar Association,  American Bar Association, and Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He is also the present co-chairman of the Legislative Sub-Committee to the Matrimonial Committee of the Rockland County Bar Association.

Mr. Sunshine has served as an appointed  Law Guardian and Guardian Ad Litem in the Appellate Division, Second Judicial Department.

He has also, over the course of his distinguished career, represented the clients of such major insurance companies as: AIG Claims Services, Inc.; AIG Risk Management, Inc.; American International Group; Chubb Group; CNA; Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company; Hartford Insurance Company; Kemper Insurance; State Insurance Fund and Zurich American Insurance Company. He has also worked seamlessly with such well known third-party administrators as: Blackmoor Group, Inc; Cunningham Lindsey; Crawford & Company; Gallagher Bassett Services, Inc. and RSKCo. He has also represented Fortune 500 companies, numerous construction companies, chemical manufacturers and entertainment professionals.
